The Chrysler 300 is a car that came with a frenzy of rave reviews only to have disappointed a lot many people in the process. The automotive is said to have been expressed through several applauses and admiration. But the car has been said to be over hyped with the release. The car enjoys considerable positive reviews but the much anticipated release did not explode it to a grand success.
The 2005 Chrysler 300 Hemi has been one of the odd cars with loads of backslides that have been witnessed by countless who have purchased it. The crossover model does have some good points but overall the generated reviews have not been that winning. The automotive media exploration along with the frenzied admiration for the Chrysler 300 Hemi has been high. The new design and styling has been applauded greatly. The mighty tunnel of good that this car projected it self to be along with the new release reviews have been effective in drawing attraction to this model. The vertical styling has been rather effective in the built but there have been complains of battering of the font end. This came as a warning bell to the 300 Hemi. DaimlerChrysler has been bringing reminders to the overall evolution of the car. The model has been rendition of some of the older Chrysler productions. The current model is mostly made of glass and that brings some security issues as well. The windshield, side window, rear ones, etc. being made of glass however makes for a roomier environment. This creates some of the most interesting patterns of the car model. The Chrysler 300’s greenhouse is small and therefore the glass helps to obliterate the notions of claustrophobia. On the high sides such a small greenhouse creates a sitting akin to a bathtub which is not what is expected from such a car. This is quite the similar problem that has been observed with the Porsche 356.
Overall the Hemi 300 has been an influence from the past which has not been able to transcend into the latest development of technology that has been evident in several other models however. The Chrysler technologists hark back to the yonder years of the past and bring designs like that of the rear of the Concorde, Prowler, Viper, PT Cruiser, etc. The 30s and 50s inspired designs have not been serving well and practically for most of Chrysler releases. The 300 Hemi could be a direct cut out of the influence of the Voisin. The well developed aerodynamics and the French aircraft engineering of the Voisin might be serving well in its day, time and purpose but for a car that shape comes to be a lot of risk in practical terms. The switch to rear wheel drive in the current Chrysler Hemi 300 has been again hyped to be of high advantage. There have been plenty of notion that this saves space, brings greater safety during snow, improves traction, etc. But this has been more expensive and regular drivers even with daily weather braving would prefer the front wheel drive more.
